The restaurant itself features one wall that separates the dining area from the kitchen. It’s a primarily open space restaurant that pairs seamlessly with their quick service and on-the-go eaters (there are a lot of office buildings in the area).

The brainchild of a young culinary arts couple, Yin Yang Express was originally meant to be a Filipino restaurant. However, looking at the area where they were setting up and the current food offerings, there were not a lot of Chinese restaurants so they saw an opportunity.

You’ll find a lot of familiar dishes on the menu like their bestsellers: Chang Se (Orange) Chicken, Egg Drop Soup, Sweet & Sour Tasty Pork, and Mrs. Tsao’s Chicken. Yin Yang Express has kept things fairly simple menu-wise but there’s a lot to be tried with their flavors that have just the right amount of Filipino flare.
