Zoo Coffee is a Korean-franchised cafe, founded by Kim Kun Woo in 2009. Today, there are over 100 stores in South Korea, with branches in  Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Taiwan and the first ever here in the Philippines located at Alphaland Makati Place.

The original concept here is to allow the customers to relax in the free and comforting ambiance and setting of nature and to incorporate this, they opted to go for a zoo-themed cafe, surrounded by animal-inspired furniture and stuffed toys.

Some of the walls are in zebra print, take-out cups and throw pillows are in animal prints, and there are several artificial trees (with toy monkeys hanging on the branches) to bring out more the jungle-motif of this one-of-a-kind cafe.

Of course, they’re not all about interiors; they offer authentic and unique Korean coffee, tea, and even smoothies, with other drinks in their separate ‘I’m Korean’ menu such as the Iced/Hot Ginseng Honey Latte and Iced/Hot Ginseng Honey Tea. Some of the food that they offer include sandwiches, hotdogs, waffles and pastries.
